About this image

ISS tracked manually as it crossed the sky, with DSLR in video mode. Video processed with PIPP to produce tifs. Short sequences of these then stacked and enhanced in Registax, and then several of these processed images were then used for this animation. Maximum altitude of ISS was 56 degrees, a distance of 497 km. The ISS is never directly overhead at the lattitude of Leeds.
