With all my astro gadget in Morocco, I am only left here in Manchester with a tiny 50mm finderscope and cheap tripod. My daughter's room is well situated that I can place the finderscope just outside the window and have the solar image reflected inside the well-darkened room. I was amazed how large, bright and clear the image was. Though I need to adjust the tripod every now and then as I have no tracking.

The eclipse will be broadcast live on my facebook page in Arabic for viewers in the Middle East who will not see the eclipse.
