About this image

The telescope wasn't at thermal equilibrium and the seeing was only poor to fair, and even with a 2x Powermate the 742nm pass through filter helped greatly smooth the seeing. A 3.3 day old (12.1% illuminated) Moon with the Sun still above the horizon. Best 5% of frames stacked and sharpened in AS!4, levels and curves adjusted in FastStone Image Viewer.
