About this image

This is a simple sketch made at the telescope on Sunday morning.

Conditions were breezy at ground level but seeing was steady, maybe as good as Antoniadi II for long moments.

The sunspot group AR 4100 was beautifully complex. My sketch of it is probably slightly too "wide" east-west.

The umbra of sunspot AR 4101 was distinctly triangular (or at least angular)!

The kit combination was generating a x78 magnification and a FOV just short of a full disk.
