About this image

This is a white light observation just now.

The full disk is plotted as accurately as i can using a Polaris-I reticle eyepiece to give me a nice west-east horizontal line (west left) and north-south vertical line (North up) for visual terms of reference. Using sky safari pro; solar central longitude is 55.9 degrees, central latitude is +1.1 degrees and north pole PA is 350.3 degrees at the time of the observation.

The kit combo was generating x56 for the initial plotting with the Polaris-I EP, x78 with binoviewers for the full disk sketch and x117 (also with binoviewers) for the close up sketch of AR4114 and AR4115. I took long enough over the sketch (too long) that AR4114 had rotated clockwise during the period of my sketch (maybe 10-degrees or even a little more) so is possibly a little bit geometrically distorted in my sketch due to that rotation (i use an Alt/Az mount).

I estimate the size of AR4114/15 together as a combo group to be circa 2x4 arc minutes apparent size (estimated using the reticle markings of the Polaris-I EP).

As a bonus, there was great faculae observable around AR4105 on the western limb.
