About this image

30 Cygni is a visual double star which can be resolved with a small telescope. It forms a contrasting double star with 31 Cygni, similar to the brighter Albireo. The primary star, 31 Cygni is an orange-hued giant, while 30 Cygni appears blue-green. 31 Cygni is a binary star itself, with a blue tertiary component of magnitude 7.0
