Title

Saturn animation with Dione's shadow transit and Rhea 4-5 September

About this image

This animation covering a period of an hour and 20 minutes of Saturn rotation shows Dione's shadow (Dione is slightly above to left of its shadow but lost aganst the reflected light of Saturn except in the last image in the sequence when it can be made out very faintly). Also seen is Rhea moving away to the right.    These images were taken in generally average seeing with brief moments of clearer and steadier seeing.  It was my first use of an electronic ADC with four rather than the usual two prisms, enabling adjustment for light smear in all directions.  The results were impressive so far!
