Jupiter with Ganymede and Io in transit 29th September

About this image

A nice double transit in IR.  I had to wait as earlier images with Jupiter very low down when there was a shadow as well were just too poor from the seeing to stack sensibly.   This image also picks out the new storm below to left of the GRS although it has calmed down from when it was first observed a few days ago.   These imgaes are close enough together to do the 'magic eye' trick of defocusing your eyes and staring into the distance until they become one image with the moons leaping out and Jupiter looking 3D.

Later on I have further data from a long morning session including three moons close by Jupiter in colour as well as my final IR data of the storm etc.
