About this image

In fact both Tethys and Mimas are in transit but mimas is completely lost in the glow of Saturn.  Tethys' shadow is the tiny dark spot just above the ring plane. Also just above the ring plane and slightly below right to Tethy's shadow is Tethys itself, the faintly whiter looking tiny smudge smaller than the shadow.
