About this image

This is mainly the IR data captured with the QHY de-rotated to 22:31 UT with some added colour data from the Uranus-C taken slightly earlier.  Saturn's rings are about as edge on as they have been but this time lit from underneath by the Sun from our angle so have remained visible either side of Saturn.

It was a brief window between nights of clouds and rain.  Seeing wasn't brilliant but haven't had much chance to use my latest toy, the f/15 18inch Orion Optics Dall-Kirkham.   Rhea was in transit but the seeing wasn't good enough to pick it out. Rhea's shadow had't yet reached Saturn.
