About this image

A real comet !  In 10x50bs defocused rough estimate is mag 4.5 (sigma Boo). Not seen with my naked eye.  Sky not quite clear enough (thin cloud).  Dust tail traced out to rho Boo.
Blue ion tail in stacked images - very impressive - goes beyond the frame edge (at least 6 degrees)    Frame is 8 x 12 degrees.

Canon RAW with dark and bias frames, stacked in DSS (not on comet), saved as FITS and processed in AstroArt.  Saved as jpg with increased colour saturation.
