About this image

Apparently the excellent seeing conditions last night were due to a "Post-storm calm: after intense frontal systems pass through, cooler, more stable air often settles in behind them. This reduces thermal turbulence near the ground and in the upper atmosphere leading to steadier air"  - that's just the opinion of Grok AI, any met person able to ratify!
