About this image

95 Herculis is a beautiful double stars. Separated by just 6.3 arcseconds, this pair is famous for its striking colour contrast. While historical astronomers swore they saw "apple-green and cherry-red," modern observations reveal a brilliant silvery-white giant paired with a warm, topaz-yellow companion.

My challenge was trying an exposure long enough to reveal some colour, but short enough to prevent the double star, separated by only 6 arcseconds, from merging into each other. I tried 12 exposures 0.5s each.
