About this image

Better conditions for imaging Mercury than yesterday. I acquired the planet earlier, before the Sun began heating nearby roofs and degrading the seeing too badly. The final image is a stack of 2900 video frames out of 330,000 captured before high cloud ended the session. The result shows albedo markings that are consistent with the blurred WinJupos image, and there is better contrast and more detail than in yesterday's image.
