I finally found some time to return to Borisov's nebula and as with the previous image of Gyulbudaghian's nebula, I wish I had spent more time on it.

The larger amorphous blob is the nebula itself, but the star to the left of it, with a tiny half spiral of light apparently emerging from its south, seems to be doing more than the nebula itself - which I think is what Richard Sargent suggested was the case a couple of years ago. Certainly, looking at today's image, there have been times when the small nebula south of the star was fainter than the (currently) faint curve of nebula to its north.

I should have given this a couple of hours, but was so tired (3 hours sleep previous night) I was dozing off while taking pictures...

Its a bit faint for many observers, but worth following. If someone fancied a challenge and took a colour image, it would be very interesting to see the result. Strongly red I imagine.
