About this image

The Ghost Nebula

Sh2-136

Captured just over 3 hours lastnight of this faint reflection nebula located approximately 1,470 light years from Earth in the constellation of Cepheus. Its eerie flowing veils of dust and gas resemble ghostly figures with raised arms.

I combined 4 filters LRGB from my mono full frame camera to produce this image.
