About this image

One of the best images from the evening of the 5th October. As well as the darker 'spoke' feature on the left-hand side of the B-ring, a darker spot halfway between the ring and the North pole of Saturn is the unresolved image of Tethys and its shadow (indicated by the ring in the lower image) which were in transit at the time.
