About this image

Encke's comet returning.

The seeing last night was not good - or dew up started faster than I realised.

Looking at this image stacked on it's motion it looks ordinaary enough but the PSF was slightly bigger 4.1 vs 3.8 arc secs (typical of stars of similar brightness nearby) but theres a good chance this is purely due to the comet trailing slightly in the 60s exposure...

Using a Zp derived from in-scene, unsaturated stars the Gaia G mag was about 17.31, which is pretty close to the 17.33 value on JPL Horizons. I'm thinking "fluke" here.
