About this image

This will probably be my last image with the scope kindly loaned to me by Nick Haigh for the last four months while my scope has been at Orion's workshop under repair. It is a fitting end to its use. Orion have promised to return my scope tomorrow.

I am also grateful to Geof Lewis who kindly reprocessed all my colour data achieving a far better result with it than my first efforts.
