The Best Amateur Astrophotography of 2014
As we approach the end of 2014, the British Astronomical Association has put together a slideshow of some of the best amateur astrophotography we have seen over the past year.
We never cease to be stunned by the superb sharp images that our members are able to submit to us. The advent of modern CCD cameras and observing techniques mean that even observers with relatively modest equipment are able to take images which rival the best professional observations from only a few decades ago.
The BAA’s Section Directors and observers explain what inspires them most about modern astrophotography.
