Observer’s Challenge – The Crescent Moon, Venus and Mars
Look west after sunset on the evenings of 23rd and 24th May, and you may be able to catch the crescent Moon, Venus and Mars.
Venus is, of course, very bright and obvious, and the Moon will be at a nice phase, but Mars will be somewhat more difficult to see.
A nice photograph should be possible but maybe wait until Venus is near to setting, and a striking western horizon will add interest.
Post your images to your members album, and good luck!
