BAA member Ron Arbour made his 33rd supernova discovery on an image taken on night of 2014-November-2/3.
Magnitude 17.1 PSN J17143829+4340518 is in an anonymous galaxy at R.A. = 17h14m38s.28, Decl. = +43°40’51”.7
Spectroscopic confirmation of type is awaited.
Update: 2014-11-09 – type confirmed spectroscopically as Type Ia
