This comet is now approaching 6th magnitude and it is well worth getting up for. You may have seen rumours of its demise on social media but these are highly premature. It is a morning object, and is moving very rapidly across the sky now as it approaches the Earth. It will be gone from our skies around December 12 so please take every opportunity to observe it.
More details are on last month’s Comet of the Month page here.
