To all members,
Sincere apologies for the abrupt ending of the live-streaming of the BAA AGM and Members meeting at the Institute of Physics this evening.
There was a power cut in the area of Kings Cross just at the end of the President’s address, and it took some time to reboot all the systems and get us up and running again.
My thanks to Simon Clark of the IoP technical staff for his valiant efforts to get us going again as fast as possible.
We lost quite a bit of time but thanks to the flexibility of speakers Dr John Rogers and Mike Foulkes we were able to deliver the last two talks to those members present.
We may not have been able to record all the rest of the meeting successfully, this has still to be assessed, but hopefully we have not lost too much.
Watch this space.
