Finally, a kind of Advent Calendar of what to observe on the Moon, and when, is located on the back page.

It’s not too late to register for the Lunar Geminid impact flash observing session on the morning of Dec 12-14. Many amateur astronomers have exactly the right kinds of cameras and telescopes needed for this work. The more observations of each impact flash the better as this helps us to learn  about the shapes of impact flash light curves more precisely than anybody else has done before!
