Hello UK Radio Astronomy Association team,
I’m reaching out from Umnya Desert Camp, in Erg Chegaga in southern Morocco.
We are opening a small astronomy and astrophotography lane for 2026 and 2027 around a few very specific moonless desert windows, designed for private groups, member travel, and expert-led hosted retreats.
I thought your team could be a strong fit for a future member journey, observing week, or small astronomy departure. The strongest windows on our side include 14-18 June 2026, 11-14 August 2026, and 2-6 July 2027, with clean horizons and formats that work well for talks, observing, and guest-friendly astrophotography.
If useful, I’d be glad to share a concise concept note, guide pricing, and the dates that feel strongest for a private desert astronomy retreat.
