Galilean moons visible through binoculars

Anyone else see all the news items about the moons being visible through binoculars on June 10th? One senses people are missing an opportunity.  I think this graph applies.  Have seen posts from people announcing they missed the opportunity because it was cloudy yesterday!

It is not down to social media though. Unfortunately this originates and is spread throughout the main stream media
