We seem to have lost the posting that preceded the last posting by Steve but kept Steve’s? I would politely request the Moderators to remove this entire topic thread. It was never appropriate given that a) this is a website for astronomical contributions of an astronomical society and its members, and b) it introduced a non-astronomical, one might almost say political view and c) a view that is not shared by all members of the BAA thus a potential cause of friction. Please remove.
