I am helping Bob Garner’s nephew dispose of his late uncle’s astronomical equipment. The equipment is located in Greenford, West London.

    Here is a listing:
Orion Optics 14” Newtonian (with customisations by Bob), on Astro-Physics 1200GTO mount, on Fullerscopes iron pedestal, with Starlight XPress SXVR-H694 cooled CCD camera, StarlightXPress automatic filter wheel (probably containing narrowband filters), and Skywatcher ST80 guidescope. Guide price for all this together: £7000

Prinz 60mm f/16 refractor with equatorial mount and wooden tripod in fitted box, probably 1960s vintage. Guide price: £100

6″ richfield Newtonian with equatorial mount, mains synchronous motor to RA (may not work), metal tripod, looks to be made by Irvings of Teddington, maybe 1960s or 70s. Guide price: £50

13.5″ (344cm) f/4.6 mirror with good coating and cell. Guide price: £250

Small (EQ3-type) mount motorised in RA, with wooden tripod. Guide price: £30

Dovetail clamp for a Losmandy plate. Guide price: £30

3″ reflector guidescope, poor condition. Guide price: free.

We would welcome offers for any of these. Clearance of the property is required quite quickly, so offers to buy the whole observatory system and help remove it would be regarded favourably, even if they are well below market value for the equipment.
