The British Antarctic Survey has an 8” Celestron Schmidt Camera (photographic) and mount for disposal. It was used in Antarctica for the International Halley Watch in 1986, and is obsolete. Anyone interested in having this instrument (to be collected from the Survey in Cambridge) please contact Jonathan Shanklin at jdsh@bas.ac.uk
