Not by me (or even by a BAA member) but I know several BAA members has spectroheliographs so I thought this remarkable (to me at least) observation might be of interest. Cedric Champeau (Author of the J’Solex software) has demonstrated the detection of 5 min period seismic “ripples” on the solar surface. His bog post is here
