For those with Celestron scopes and who don’t already have advanced observatory control software:
Celestron has made available – for free – easy to use telescope control software that will work with many of their mounts. I have found that it meshes nicely via ASCOM with Maxim. And with a local copy of UCAC4, I can plate solve out in the field and achieve precise pointing.
