I’m hoping to get the next edition of the Comet Section newsletter, Comet’s Tale, out sometime in June. The last edition was published back in the summer of 2023 so a lot has happened since then. We’ve had two really good comets and a few fizzles.

The Comet’s Tale editor, Janice McClean, is currently our president. With all of the responsibilities of that office we have decided that I will edit this one with the help of section secretary, Denis Buczynski.
If you would like to write an article for possible inclusion in this edition please let me know. I would need final material by May 23rd. I’d be particularly interested in articles covering comet observing techniques, since equipment has moved on quite a bit since 2023.
