Hello my name is James Dean, my main interest is in deep sky observational astronomy, but I also enjoy lunar, planetary and solar observing. I also enjoy meteor observing and astrophotography. Pretty much everything astronomy related. I use various different telescopes and cameras and have a large collection of different equipment that I use for astrometry etc. I live under dark skies in rural wales and observe from by back garden where I have a few permanent setups. I also enjoy wild astronomy which I have done since my early teens and involves a bivvy or small tent and a lightweight setup. I love to share my passion with my children or with any who has a desire to learn about astronomy.
