I am an engineer specialized in astronomical instrumentation and computer systems, with twenty years of experience in the practical teaching of Astronomy at the Science Museum of Barcelona, now CosmoCaixa. I built my first telescope, including the primary mirror a 15 cm Newtonian, at the age of 13. I have designed and built all kinds of telescopes and astronomical accessories and I have worked at the KVA observatory of Roque de los Muchachos (ORM) on the Canary Island of La Palma (Spain). From 2001 to mid-2018 I was director and owner of the Tacande observatory in La Palma. I am currently the director of the Astropriorat observatory in continental Spain
