Science background, now retired. Have written for BAA technical group. FRAS. Just completed my observatory in Selsey after moving from a high dark sky site near Chepstow and Monmouth. Have been involved in astronomy for about 30 years. I now write observatory automation software and have an active interest in variable stars.
