Mad on astronomy since schooldays. I was extremely lucky to attend a school (Wandsworth School) with its own Zeiss planetarium and a full-time teacher of astronomy and navigation (Peter Richards-Jones). I have a physics background and, until retirement, taught physics. I enjoy the night sky generally, but I'm particularly interested in variable stars and the deep sky. I'm a member of the Webb Soc., and a long-term subscriber of The Astronomer magazine (thanks for all you do Guy!). Member of Guildford Astronomical Society.
