Astronomy and space have fascinated me since I was a small boy. Fond memories of making telescopes from small lenses which led eventually to the construction of a 6 inch refrigerator, sorry reflector, bother that predictive text! I have a small observatory in the Dales housing an 11 inch SCT which I use mainly for CCD observations of asteroids and occasionally comets, sometimes asteroid occultation timing, but I have also done some lunar and planetary imagery from time to time. IAU station code since 2012. BAA member since 2003.
