I have always been interested in the skies above us but never thought I could image the Deep sky objects until a few years ago – I took early retirement and have not looked back. Astrophotography is my new job…. My degree is in Applied Physics and my career was as an engineer then manager for companies making Optical fibres and devices using fibres. I feel so lucky to have found this fantastic hobby – wish I had found it earlier….. The Wow factor of “dialling” in an object and then it appears on your screen will never get old for me. All controlled with the amazing ZWO ASIair Pro via my tablet. I know I’m only scratching the surface of this new hobby but I’m happy with my progress so far and most importantly I’m really enjoying it. Wishing you all Clear skies.
