The latest Astronomer’s Telegram, ATel#18021 reports the rapid evolution of the spectrum over just a few days and the fact that this is a “Fast” nova. So take a look at every opportunity before it gets too faint.

Thanks Mike, yes I’m completely new to spectroscopy. Bad weather here at the mo but I’d like to follow up with another image.

Hi all, I took this image but new to spectroscopy and not sure if anything I’ve done is correct. Nova image taken on the 28th August. C11 @ f6.3, Star Analyser 100 and Zwo Asi 678mm camera.
