A former BAA member, rejoining after retirement. A general interest in Astronomy and recently in trying to image comets and asteroids. Currently I am part way through constructing a roll off roof observatory. With a lot of help from Dr Richard Miles explaining the intricacies of Astrometrica I obtained an observatory code, moving on from the astrometry to photometry has thrown up a number of challenges. My camera was a CMOS and no matter what we tried getting consistent photometric data proved impossible. Camera changed to a SX Trius Pro H694 and now photometry results are acceptable. Currently contributing to two BAA observation programmes for asteroid rotation and Comet 29P/ Schwassmann-Wachmann MISSION 29P
