Comet 46P/Wirtanen at Perihelion

Comet 46P/Wirtanen will be at perihelion on 16 December 2018 when it will pass 0.077 AU (11.5 million km) from Earth. It might become as bright as magnitude 3. As the ephemeris from the Minor Planet Center below shows for Greenwich, this comet will be visible in the evening sky from the UK during 2018 December.
