The GRS in 2019 and its interaction with retrograding vortices

The 2019 apparition of Jupiter was notable for the apparent shedding of red strips or ‘flakes’ from the periphery of the GRS, induced by retrograding vortices from the SEBs jet. This report aims to provide a comprehensive record of the amateur observations of the GRS flaking events and associated features.  JunoCam images are included for comparison.
