I notice that the forum is bit quiet, so excuse me making a noise! Just a quick message to say hello and introduce myself Im new to the BAA and to the field of variables. My interest was sparked from involvement in various GalaxyZoo/Zooniverse.org projects over several years and from reading more specific detail about variables and the importance of amateur involvement and contributions. As I say, I am completely new to this area and am not currently actively observing, though this is something I plan to start very soon. So for now Ill just say hello, and hopefully talk with some of you soon (apologies in advance for any silly questions that may come your way)!
