About this image

Got home from giving a lecture to the Swindon Stargazers and the sky was beautifully clear soI thought i'd look out for comet Johnson. After getting the ephemerides i located it with 8x42 binoculars and thought I may be able to capture it despite the light pollution. Set up the 80Mm on my HEQ5 mount and attached the camera. focused on Arcturus and then moved to the comet and there it was after a few exposures. Processed in PS to remove the orange cast of streetlights!
