About this image

The "Great American Eclipse" may have taken the US by storm but we had the chance to capture the Sun in eclipse too - although only 4% of it would be covered from the UK and it would happen close to sunset. Thankfully the clouds held off long enough on the day for me to catch the Sun heading toward the horizon and caught the maximum....
