About this image

A stack of 32x10s frames from Crux Australis to Carina taken just outside San Pedro de Atacama a few days before the eclipse. The skies there were stunning. This was with my Sony A7s on a fixed tripod at ISO 6400 and a 50mm, f/1.8 lens at f/2.8. The individual 10s frames are pretty impressive and this stack was done using Deeop Sky Stacker with no calibration frames.
