About this image

This is by far the best that I have managed on Venus in UV to pick out its clouds.  Having improved things previously with a 200mm Newtonion I went back to my 14inch SCT but avoided using any Barlows or Powermates and it made a big difference.   The final image was multiplied by 2 in post processing and is a stack of the best 30% of seven 4,500 frame files taken between 17:08 and 17:30 UT
