About this image

This was a two-hour imaging session on the comet using two telescopes simultaneously. The 130mm triplet APO with a colour CMOS camera and my 14inch SCT at its ntaive f/10 with my mono CCD. The triplet is guided 120second frames and the 14inch unguided 45 second images with a mono CCD. Despite the moonlight the early part of the straight Ion tail can be seen.
