About this image

Whenever possible I've been trying for the clouds of Venus, as it is the first time in many years that it has been well enough placed for me to be able to image it in the late afternoon before sunset from my observatory. This is my latest image from 8th February and is a composite of the best of some 50,000 images taken over a half hour period using a Baader Venus U filter and my telescope at its native f/10.
